Prof. Dr. Thomas Euler
Head of Research Group
Thomas Euler holds a position as Professor for Ophthalmic Research at the University of Tübingen, Germany, since 2009. He is affiliated with the Centre for Ophthalmology and the Centre for Integrative Neuroscience (CIN). He completed his Diplom in Biology at the Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz, in 1993, and earned his Doctorate in Biology in 1996 (University of Mainz), supervised by H. Wässle (MPI for Brain Research in Frankfurt). His postdoctoral work includes positions with R.H. Masland at the Harvard Medical School / Mass. General Hospital in Boston, USA, and with W. Denk at the MPI for Medical Research in Heidelberg.
